I watched this 3 beers deep in a hotel room whilst my fiancée sat next to me playing Animal Crossing on Nintendo Switch, occasionally looking up from the screen to mutter; "oh my god." before going back to playing.
Truth be told, this isn't the worst movie I've ever watched, and it's made pretty clear from the outset that what you are watching is unironically and intentionally cheap and nasty. And whilst it is funny in places with this, and whilst it definitely tries to push the 'so good it's bad' approach, I didn't really feel like the movie was clever and kitsch enough with it? And it did sort of feel like the movie was in on it's own joke.
I think calling it "fine" would be a bit of a stretch... and whilst it's certainly better than some of the other YouTube garbage that I've subjected myself to before starting this blog, I mostly came away from it feeling a bit disappointed. Not awful enough to be 'so bad it's good', and not really smart enough to be a sleeper cult classic.
